Support Options

Your IMA software licenses are lifetime licenses - eligible for all updates and new versions for as long as you have a full software support agreement with IMA. We also offer system administration, quality control and educational services customized for our clients. These are of particular interest to organizations that don't have their own Information Services Department and to organizations whose Information Services Department is overloaded and needs to outsource some of its work.

Software Support
Costs for full software support vary based on your number of licenses. Included in this support are:

  • Hotline telephone support for IMA software for your administrative user
  • Software update service
The software support does not include
  • Support for non-IMA text editors
  • Resolution of problems related to hardware or network configurations, malfunctions or replacements
Server Hardware Extension Support
IMA can provide extensions to the original manufacturers' warranty on server hardware. These services extend support past the expiration of the original warranty (typically three years) and/or upgrade the response time from "next day" to "four hours". These extensions also cover any software-related services that may be required in conjunction with a hardware failure.

Network Support
IMA offers support options that combine hardware and software support to keep all stations on the network operational.

Care Packages
Although IMA custom services can be purchased on an as-needed basis, many organizations prefer to pre-pay for two, four or six days of such services. Services purchased in this manner are discounted, and payments are spread throughout the year to ease cash flow. Here are some examples of IMA Care Packages. We can also customize packages for your unique needs.

Basic E-Mail Forwarding Service
This provides an unlimited number of e-mail addresses with five hours' per month data transfer. This is typically sufficient for obtaining support services form IMA plus exchange of general business mail. If you need more extensive and direct Internet access, we will be happy to recommend and arrange for such services.
