IMA Desktop Tour — OASAS Data Management

Managing data and creating the required reports for the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) is a snap with the IMA Desktop. The OASAS required demographic data are incorporated into the client Intake and Termination screens. Service information is entered only once and is then used both for the various reports to OASAS as well as for your own management and control purposes.

• Admission and Discharge Reporting The IMA Desktop prepares this reporting in the required OASAS-compliant submission format. This can be submitted to OASAS on diskette or through direct dial-up and file transfer. As the submission file is generated, PAS-44, PAS-45 and PAS-46 forms are printed for your hard copy paper records as desired.
• Monthly PRU Service Report The IMA Desktop generates this information based on your service delivery data. It is printed for transfer to the PAS-48 form. The information may also be keyed directly into OASAS if direct dial-up is preferred. OASAS does not yet accept this information in an electronic format other than data entered through their provider gateway.
• Threshold Reports The OASAS Threshold Report is also generated based on your service delivery data, receipts and receivables for direct reporting. There is no current electronic version accepted by OASAS for this report.

Data enter your vital OASAS client admission and discharge into the system only once. Using IMA, you can collect all of the necessary client information for a month and let the IMA System compile and ready the submission file for transfer to OASAS.
