IMA HPAP Product Announcement

August 15, 2007

IMA is proud to announce the completion of development and beta release of the new IMA HPAP (Healthcare Professional Assistance Program) web-based application. This robust, streamlined and easy to use application allows for the tracking, monitoring, scheduling and reporting of services provided to healthcare professionals under state licensing board care & monitoring of substance abuse issues. It also reports on successful completion of HPAP requirements.

An administrator or Counselor is able to see at a glance the status of all the members under their supervision via a simple online "dashboard". Alerts of missed calls, visits, specimens, and positive lab results are clearly highlighted and required actions indicated.

This exciting new application uses Microsoft.Net technology and Microsoft SQL databases. It can be installed on customer web servers or on a web host specified and contracted by the customer. This application is stand alone in that it does not require existing IMA Desktop server install or use.

The exciting new application works exclusively with the following Microsoft products:

  1. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005
  2. Microsoft IIS
  3. .Net 2.x

The user can host their own installation and can use it on IMA servers via web hosting.

Some key application features are:

  1. Registration of healthcare professionals
  2. Scheduling substance lab testing
  3. Interfaces with an 800 number for clients to call into using unique IDs to determine if they are required to test that day
  4. The 800 number is also used by specimen collection agents to determine when to expect clients
  5. The 800 number call in system provides scheduling and testing location information specific to client calling in if they are required to submit a specimen on that day
  6. The system allows for secure random testing where neither the system administrators nor the client knows when random testing will occur
  7. The random testing is based on the phase and history of each member and automatically posts random testing requirements to the integrated 800 number call-in system
  8. The system automatically interfaces to the Toxicology labs and downloads results into the integrated database
  9. The system produces daily reports showing who was selected and also who did and did not call in to receive the message
  10. The system allows for billing of services provided by the agency under the HPAP program
