v14 Release Notes

IMA Desktop
The majority of our development over the last year has been focused on enhancing the IMA Desktop. Many features were added to existing modules and many entirely new modules have now been added. Here are the details of the changes now being released:
  • New help windows for client, staff, and activity code lookup: The "drop down" lists for these codes are often very long. New help windows allow users to quickly zoom in to the codes and names that they are interested in choosing from. For example, in client help, this might be a list of clients active in a particular program or on a staff's case load. In staff, it might be a list of staff assigned to a particular location.
  • File transfer: There are many times that users will want to transfer files from the server to a local PC. There is a new general mechanism to transfer files from the IMA server to your PC. This can be used for report output, billing submission files, or any other output to be sent to a PC.
  • Screen view of report: Whenever a report is viewed on the screen (instead of printing) it is now easier to move from page to page, jump directly to the last page, or change the font size.
  • Comma delimited output: An option to create "csv" files for transfer to a spreadsheet was added in many new places.
  • Signaling: A new pop up window was added to signal the user about new mail or front desk check-in of a client.
  • Licensing: Administrators have more control to view and control IMA license usage.
  • System administration: The definitions of tables, activity codes, programs, insurance plans, staff, and operators can all be done using new IMA Desktop modules. These new modules have added features to make the maintenance of these codes easier than ever.
  • Front desk check-in: Managed care alerts were added to the initial front desk check-in screen. New selection options where also added to control which appointments are listed for a given day.
  • Clinical documents: The "Assessments" function in the IMA system has now been expanded in the desktop to include any clinical documents that an agency may want to create.
  • Ad hoc reports: Ad-hoc reporting has been converted to the IMA Desktop. A simple intuitive interface was created to create reports, save them, and export them into "csv" format for spreadsheets.
