The Calendar system has once again been enhanced. We have now added new security settings to control access to scheduled appointments. The two specific features added are:
- Privacy: There is now a privacy option for each scheduled appointment that allows the details of an appointment to be hidden from all except the person who is scheduled in the meeting and the person who created the appointment. Other users will only see that the time slot is blocked.
- Access: There are four permission levels that can be set to control a user's ability to add and change appointments. A user can have:
- Full access to edit all schedules
- Access to only edit their own appointments
- Access to only their own appointments as well as some specific other users
- Access to only view appointments without permission for editing
