Both the character and Desktop versions of IMA e-mail have been upgraded to support e-mail attachments. When an e-mail that contains an attachment is received, the format will be recognized and properly read. In the character version of IMA an indication will be added about these files. In the Desktop version of IMA, these files can be easily retrieved and opened.
The IMA Desktop also allows attachments to be sent. A unique function has been added to enable the attachment of output from the IMA system to any e-mail message. The Adobe acrobat feature mentioned above can be used to quickly select, convert, and send any of these files via e-mail.
While adding these features, a number of enhancements were made to the basic e-mail package interface making it easier to navigate and use.
